Puffs Design-the-Box Contest

Concept:

Regional art contest for elementary age students (K-6) in eight Midwestern communities. Entrants drew an image that reflected the theme, “What I like about school.” Top winning student design was used on a Puffs tissue box sold nationally.

Format:

Brochure was mailed to 1,500 art teachers. Top winners won prizes that included savings bonds, computers, and digital cameras.

 

Results: Approximately 500 students entered this pilot program. A national program was introduced a year later.
